WOW! SO GOOD! I found it just looking at restaurants on Google Maps and it looked/sounded good. We love little, homemade scratch food places so it looked like it would fit the bill. We tried a wide variety of food and everyone liked it all! The servings are a good size for a good price. The waitress was FABULOUS (and we even gotto see "Pop"). Our drinks stayed full. The coffee was tasty. At our table we had: and omelet, brisket hash, fried pork chop, founder, sourdough, biscuits, eggs, tomatoes, coffee. My one suggestion would be to have apple butter and/or honey available for the biscuits/toast! We must have gotten there at just the right time...only 2 tables were full when we arrived, but the whole place was full in the middle of our meal. If we return to Maggie Valley, Pop's is definitely on the list!

Yummy Breakfast on our way out of town. Biscuits and Gravy are some of the best. Fluffy eggs crispy bacon and down home great service what more could you ask for. Our breakfast was $10.00 person with hot coffee. Pip came out of kitchen to see us.

Food so good that we visited twice during our trip! First trip I got the Lexi Cuban bread french toast with fresh whipped cream, second trip the sausage and cheese omelet. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious! The waitress was sweet and attentive.

Excellent service. Waitress very nice and attentive. Food was good but a tad salty for my taste. I had biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage. Limited parking.

This is a hidden gem right out in the open that is worth the time to stop and dine at!!! Pop’s Place is a cozy eatery with breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere, food and service were fantastic. Well worth the stop for breakfast. While not attempting to eavesdrop on the conversation between Pop and the person on the other end of the phone due to the size and accustoms of the dining area. I had the opportunity to hear a Popism and will share it with the world. “Don’t cry for me when I am gone, if you can’t love me while I’m here”. A little deep. But let it sink in. It’s that type of old school honesty society seems to lack

Very nice people. Quaint restaurant with about 10 tables. Food was plentiful, seemed properly cooked, but just lacked flavor. Omelet was stuffed with meat and cheese, but just not much flavor. Maybe need better quality breakfast meats? Home fries blan and soggy. Gravy over-peppered and not enough sausage flavor. Chocolate chip pancakes needed something for flavor even though there was a lot of chocolate chips in it. Grit cake was probably the best thing we had.
